The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bitburger drops back, looking for a kneebar! BOXE looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. BOXE looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from BOXE!

and Bitburger counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Bitburger.

Bitburger turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Bitburger manages to end up in side control.

Bitburger tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Bitburger has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Bitburger might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control BOXE kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Bitburger is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but BOXE is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
BOXE is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Bitburger is controlling him well.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
