Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Edward Stout (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Arthur Jenkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stout's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Slaughterhouse-Wack MC's. Arthur Jenkins has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Edward Stout!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Arthur Jenkins!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Yves DeLean and Elvis Blanc.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jenkins fails with a takedown attempt.
Stout fails with the takedown

and Jenkins counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Jenkins is figuring out what he wants to do next.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Stout is pressing down on Jenkins's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Jenkins stops Stout from standing up.
Jenkins seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Stout working a defensive guard but Jenkins manages to pass into side control anyway.

Jenkins takes a little break here. Stout wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.

Jenkins tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.

Stout tries to buck Jenkins off but Jenkins is having none of it.
Jenkins moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.

Jenkins has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

and Jenkins decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Stout's guard.
Stout has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Jenkins has passed into side control.
You can see the frustration on Stout's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Stout really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Stout tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Jenkins wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Stout is breathing heavily.

Jenkins is staying tight to Stout's torso, preventing him from escaping.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Jenkins decides to take the fight back to the feet.

and Jenkins counters with a nice double leg into guard.

Stout is trying to control the position but Jenkins postures up.
Jenkins slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

Stout had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Jenkins is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Stout Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Jenkins's back instead.

Stout is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Jenkins has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.
Jenkins manages to reverse the position and now he's in Stout's guard. Nice work there by Jenkins.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Jenkins takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

Stout with a poor takedown

and Jenkins counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Despite being in the dominant position, Arthur Jenkins just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Jenkins shoots for a takedown but Stout saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Arthur Jenkins showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

Stout is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Jenkins defends well.
