Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Bob Rocket (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mr Perkele (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rocket connects with a high kick.
Rocket looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!

Perkele shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Perkele connects with a nice short shot to Rocket's temple.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Perkele shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Rocket pinned against the cage. Rocket gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Bob Rocket has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mr Perkele.

Perkele changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Rocket looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Despite being in the dominant position, Mr Perkele just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
