Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Zach Craig! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, jdfhgdjf dfdsfds! The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Elvis Blanc and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! dfdsfds keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Craig. Craig tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but dfdsfds swivels and escapes. Craig gets a takedown into half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. dfdsfds with the active half guard here but Craig passes nicely into side control. dfdsfds is trying to improve his position. dfdsfds being controlled for a moment. dfdsfds tries to get back to half guard but can't. dfdsfds sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Craig wants to free his trapped foot but dfdsfds is holding on for dear life with his legs. dfdsfds actively working from the bottom here. dfdsfds looking for submissions off his back. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. dfdsfds looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. dfdsfds looks gassed! dfdsfds looking for submissions off his back. Craig is taking a breather. dfdsfds says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Craig seems to be working for a kimura but dfdsfds defends the submission attempt.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Craig tries to stand but can't do so whilst dfdsfds controls his leg.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. dfdsfds shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Craig counters with a single leg into guard. dfdsfds didn't expect that. Craig stands and throws dfdsfds's legs to the side, diving into side control. dfdsfds is looking to reverse the position. Craig staying calm. Craig cracks dfdsfds with a big right hand but dfdsfds just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Craig stands up. Craig scores with a takedown into dfdsfds's guard. Craig not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. dfdsfds wants to sweep but no luck. Craig slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Craig is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Craig stays in close to dfdsfds's body and controls the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Craig stands up and waves to dfdsfds to follow him. Craig clinches with his opponent.
Craig's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Craig throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. dfdsfds was covering up waiting for the punch and Craig finishes the takedown easily into guard. dfdsfds is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Craig defends well. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Zach Craig dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
dfdsfds takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Craig closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. dfdsfds did well to prevent Craig getting side control. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Craig connects with a nice short shot to dfdsfds's temple. dfdsfds actively working from the bottom here. dfdsfds looking for submissions off his back. Craig drops an elbow to the side of dfdsfds's head. Craig is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. dfdsfds is breathing heavily. Craig is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
That's one minute gone in the round. Craig not doing much here.
Craig stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being. Craig scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. dfdsfds is trying to improve his position. dfdsfds tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Craig presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount! Craig is landing with some decent strikes but dfdsfds is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Craig looking to control and managing it successfully. dfdsfds is trying to escape the mount.
Craig controlling from mount. The referee warns dfdsfds that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Craig lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Craig content just to control the position here. Craig has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Craig is in the full mount, landing strikes. Craig controlling his opponent.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Craig breaks from dfdsfds's wrist control and lands an elbow. Craig manages to capitalize on a mistake by dfdsfds to take his back! Craig lands shots from the back. dfdsfds is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.
Can dfdsfds hold on?! Craig is landing more strikes to his hapless foe.
dfdsfds turns into Craig and is now in his guard.
Craig wants to sweep here but dfdsfds controlling him for the moment. dfdsfds drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Craig dives on top into guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Zach Craig dominated that second round. That's time! Back to the action! And we move into the final round!
Craig gets a clinch. Craig pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. dfdsfds fails with the takedown and Craig counters with a nice double leg into half guard. dfdsfds moves into full guard.
Craig advances to half guard. Craig working the head and body with strikes. Craig keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Craig takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Craig missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Both fighters are breathing heavily. dfdsfds keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
That's one minute gone in the round. Craig prevents dfdsfds from improving his position. Craig is controlling the pace.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Craig moves into the clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Craig has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. dfdsfds avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Craig controlling the action here for a moment.

Craig stands and steps away. dfdsfds gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Craig instigates a clinch. Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Craig. Craig drags the fight down to the ground.

Craig postures up and lands a big shot to dfdsfds's brow. jdfhgdjf dfdsfds has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Craig avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Zach Craig is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. dfdsfds working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Craig doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Craig manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
And that's the end of the fight! Zach Craig showed his dominance in that final round. Well Craig has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
