Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mario Marcello (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anthony Lusion (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Anthony Lusion is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lusion lands a big head kick that sends Marcello tumbling to the mat! Lusion takes a step backwards and waves Marcello back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Marcello is rocked!

It looks like Mario Marcello has been cut.
Lusion wants to clinch.
Oh Marcello is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Lusion rushes Marcello and presses him up against the cage.
Marcello seems to have got his legs back now.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Lusion has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Marcello uses from the top position.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Lusion is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Lusion working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Marcello doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Marcello manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Marcello drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Marcello jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Lusion had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Marcello is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Lusion Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Marcello's back instead.
Lusion thows a huge left but connects with the canvas and not his opponent.
Lusion lands punches and elbows.
Lusion has his opponent trapped and is landing shots. Not a good position for Marcello.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Lusion lands with a big left hand that may well have hurt his opponent. Can Marcello hold on?!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Marcello manages to reverse the position and now he's in Lusion's guard. Nice work there by Marcello.
Lusion has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
