Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Kapten Klaenning (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ahmed Abudabi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ahmed Abudabi is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kapten Klaenning! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ahmed Abudabi! The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Frank Dennis and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Klaenning misses with a body shot.
Ahmed Abudabi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Klaenning takes a kick to the side of the head. Klaenning feints and as Abudabi raises his hands in defense, Klaenning changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Abudabi wants to stand but Klaenning is controlling the position. Klaenning stands up from Abudabi's guard - Klaenning perhaps looking for a knockout. Abudabi throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena. Abudabi throws a head kick that misses. Thud! ouch! good body kick from Abudabi - that will leave a mark!
Abudabi throws a wild body kick that Klaenning sees coming a mile off. Klaenning takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Abudabi throws a head kick that Klaenning semi-blocks.
Abudabi tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Abudabi lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Klaenning circles away quickly and effectively. Abudabi tries a head kick but it misses.
Klaenning closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Abudabi did well to prevent Klaenning getting side control. Well, if Klaenning is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
That's one minute gone in the round. Klaenning has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Abudabi is trying to stand up here but Klaenning is controlling him well. Klaenning is taking a breather. Abudabi says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Abudabi is trying to stand.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Abudabi really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Klaenning. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Abudabi looks gassed! Klaenning passes the guard and advances to mount! Klaenning controlling the pace for now.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Abudabi wants to try and get back to his feet. Klaenning looking to isolate an arm here. Abudabi doesn't see it coming and as Klaenning extends the arm, he's forced to tap out! Nice submission by Klaenning!
