Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jon Major (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Forrest The Reaper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Forrest The Reaper!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, Richard Clark and Paul Tew.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Major fails with a takedown attempt from distance.

The Reaper gets the takedown into side control.
The Reaper controlling from side mount.
The Reaper landing a few strikes.
Major knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for The Reaper on the ground.

The Reaper thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

The Reaper is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Major is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
The Reaper has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Major is looking to reverse the position.

The Reaper has Major up against the cage in a clinch.
Major looking to slow down the pace here.
The Reaper wants to break the clinch but can't.
Major gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from The Reaper.

Major is fighting off a takedown attempt but The Reaper is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Major to the mat. Major regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

and The Reaper holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jon Major. That's going to take a lot out of him.
The Reaper wants to get back to striking at distance but Major won't allow it.

Major trying to keep a closed guard but The Reaper is proving a slippery customer.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Major is on top in guard.
The Reaper is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

The Reaper seems to be working for a kimura but Major defends the submission attempt.
Major tries to get to full guard but The Reaper has control of the leg.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Major is not content to let The Reaper control the position.
The Reaper content to control rather than advance.
Major wants to improve his position but The Reaper is controlling well.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Forrest The Reaper dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


Major is looking to clinch but The Reaper is avoiding it.
Major rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but The Reaper moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Major looks frusrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

The Reaper has taken the fight to the clinch.
The Reaper wants to break the clinch but can't.

The Reaper lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.

The Reaper successfully pulls guard.

The Reaper working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Major doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Major manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Major with a flurry of punches that miss.
The Reaper bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Major's guard.

The Reaper passes Major's left leg - he's now in half guard.
The Reaper is trying to control the action in half guard but Major is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The Reaper is breathing heavily.
The Reaper scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Major tries to get to full guard but The Reaper has control of the leg.
The Reaper prevents Major from standing back up.
The Reaper seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
The Reaper moves into full mount! Major won't be happy about that!

Major is working to get back to half guard.
Major's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
Major wants to hold on but The Reaper pushes him away.
Major is trying to escape the mount.

The Reaper goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Major is on top in guard.
Major is stalling in the full guard.

The Reaper keeping moving, preventing Major from controlling successfully.

Major wants to control the pace but The Reaper is squirming around nicely.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Forrest The Reaper showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!
