Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jack Major (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Saulnier Erik (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Saulnier Erik has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Jack Major! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Saulnier Erik! The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, William Gold and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Major tries to clinch but Erik is having none of it. Erik misses with a wild body shot. Erik keeps the fight on the outside. Major tries to clinch but Erik is having none of it. Major shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Erik as he avoids it easily. Erik listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Erik decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Major is looking to control Erik's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Major avoid being mounted? Major is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Erik throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Erik is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Major reverses the position - he's now on top in Erik's guard. Major forces his way into half guard. Erik moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Major tries to free his leg and advance position but Erik is retaining full guard.

Major wants to stand but Erik has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Major trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Erik holds on and takes a little breather. Erik looking to control but Major passes into half guard.
Erik tries to roll over but Major keeps him under control. Major is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Erik lands an overhand right.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Major stuffs the takedown attempt from Erik. Erik gets slowly back to his feet. Saulnier Erik seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Major moves in looking to clinch but Erik pushes him off. Major closes this distance looking for a takedown but Erik circles away. Major is breathing heavily. Erik scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Erik looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Major! Major keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Erik landing strikes from the mount. Major tries to hold on but Erik postures up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Major is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Major is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Major is trying to get back to his feet but can't. Major is trying desperately to improve position. Major gets back to half guard. Major has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Erik is working away from the top position though. Major slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Major is trying to control the position but Erik postures up. Major looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

Erik must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Major bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Erik's guard. Major wants to control from the top but Erik keeps moving. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Saulnier Erik dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Major shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Major misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Erik swats away the attempt to clinch by Major. Major wants to clinch. Erik avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Major tries for a takedown but Erik sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jack Major. That's going to take a lot out of him. Major throws a head kick that looked like it stung.

Jack Major is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Major wants to clinch up but Erik keeps it at a distance. Major fails with the takedown. Erik throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. Nice body punch from Major. Major shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Major fails with the takedown and Erik counters with a takedown into side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Erik working the head with strikes. Erik lands an elbow. Erik wants to control but Major is keeping him busy. Erik lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. Major tries to improve position but can't. Erik working the ground and pound from side control. Major tries to escape but Erik is in control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Major gets back to half guard. Erik is thwarting Major's attempts to control the position. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Erik lands a nice short elbow. Erik looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Major has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Erik is working away from the top position though. Major is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Erik seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Major is trying to maintain the position but Erik is very close to passing his half guard. Erik is looking to stall here but Major recovers full guard. Major is trying to control the position but Erik postures up. Erik gets to his feet. Major looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Major tries to clinch there but Erik circles away.
Erik tries to bum rush Major with a series of wild strikes but Major uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Major shoots and misses and Erik holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Erik has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Major is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Major drops down looking for an ankle pick but Erik pulls his leg out and moves away.
Erik misses with a right hand and Major counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Major with a poor takedown and Erik counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Major! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Erik avoids the attempt from Major to control. Erik is landing with some decent strikes but Major is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Erik with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.

Saulnier Erik has got the better of the ground game so far. Major manages to regain half guard. Good work. Major is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Erik's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Erik's back! Erik defending nicely against the rear naked choke attempt.

Major is trying to control the position but Erik postures up. Major preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Nice takedown defense from Erik. No joy for Major on that attempt. Major looks to clinch and Erik counters with a stiff right hand. A combination from Erik does no damage. Major gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Erik counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Saulnier Erik showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!
Major takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Major closes this distance looking for a takedown but Erik circles away. Nice takedown defense from Erik. No joy for Major on that attempt. A slapping leg kick lands for Major.

It looks like Saulnier Erik has been cut. Major fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Erik sprawls well initially but Major persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Major seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Major wants to control but Erik is keeping him busy. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Erik can do anything to dispel that myth. Major tries to stand but his arm is trapped. Erik really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Major. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Major lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Erik is pressing down on Major's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Erik keeping moving, preventing Major from controlling successfully. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Major decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Erik, up you get!

Erik working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Major manages to work his way to half guard, despite Erik's best efforts. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Erik connects with a nice short shot to Major's temple. Major is looking to escape. Major trying to hold on to Erik's head to control him but Erik postures up.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Erik works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. Major is rocked! Erik creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. Major is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Erik's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.

Major lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Erik! Erik tries to reverse the position but Major maintains control. Erik tries to strike from the bottom but he's left himself exposed and Major has taken his back. Erik tries to roll but Major sticks to his back.
Erik rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Erik wants to improve his position but Major is controlling well.
