Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Max Thatcher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Montros (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Thatcher might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Seven Nation Army- The White Stripes. Montros has chosen Eye of the Tiger as his entrance music. Max Thatcher has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Summer Carpenter and Eliza Hachem.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Donk. Montros catches Thatcher right on the button with a cross.
Montros misses with a two punch combination.
Thatcher pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Jason Montros seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Montros throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Thatcher.
Thatcher takes a swing at Montros's ribcage but misses.
Thatcher shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Montros as he avoids it easily.
Montros lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Montros works Thatcher's body with a nice hook.
Thatcher shoots in for a takedown but Montros shows good takedown defense.
Thatcher moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Montros.
Thatcher is breathing heavily.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Thatcher is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Montros.
Montros takes the fight into the clinch.
Montros breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Thatcher blocks a head kick by Montros.
Montros lands a lovely overhand right.
Montros turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Montros works Thatcher's body with a nice hook.
Montros connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Thatcher momentarily.
Montros lands a big head kick that sends Thatcher to the canvas! Montros follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!
