Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, georges Rush!
The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Joseph Jones and John Kavanagh.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Belfort throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Rush misses with a combination
and Belfort counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Belfort looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Belfort dodges the punch combination from Rush.
Belfort closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Belfort is working to tighten is grip on Rush's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Rush has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Belfort is really squeezing tight and eventually Rush passes out! Belfort breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
