Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Henrique Machado!
The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Luis Engracia and Alexandre Firmino.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ramone closes the distance and clinches.
Machado is working for takedown but Ramone is calmly controlling the position for now.
Ramone is trying to trip Machado. He has hold of a leg but Machado is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Ramone persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
Ramone is stalling in the full guard.
Ramone stops Machado from standing up.
Machado trying to control the position here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ramone tries to free his leg and advance position but Machado is retaining full guard.
Ramone trying to control the position from guard on top but Machado is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Ramone is pushing down on Machado's leg trying to pass to half guard. Machado is fighting to maintain full guard but Ramone has managed to sneak the leg through.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Machado has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Ramone. Oh but Machado has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Ramone goes limp - he's gone! Machado jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
