Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Mike Martins!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Reece Scoble!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Elvis Blanc and William Peck.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Martins shoots in for a takedown but Scoble shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Scoble scores with a takedown into Martins's guard.

Martins working for submissions but it's allowed Scoble to get to half guard.
Scoble tries to stand but his arm is trapped.
Scoble should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Martins wants to control but Scoble is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Martins is trying to get back to full guard.
Scoble wants to get back to his feet.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Martins is looking for a sweep. Scoble is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Martins misses with some strikes from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Martins is looking to get back to full guard here but Scoble has managed to pass to side control instead.
Scoble really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Martins. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Scoble closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Martins did well to prevent Scoble getting side control.
Scoble tries to stand and escape but Martins is controlling the position.

Reece Scoble comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Scoble has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
