Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Juan Abolado (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Danny Cooper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cooper has chosen Here Comes the Boom as his entrance music. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Juan Abolado! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Danny Cooper! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Abolado gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Cooper is looking to work some ground and pound but Abolado has wrist control. Abolado is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Cooper defends well. Abolado had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Cooper is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Abolado Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Cooper's back instead. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Cooper preventing the rear naked choke attempt from Abolado. Abolado is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Cooper is defending well though. Abolado let's go of the attempt for now. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Cooper is having to fend off submission attempts from Abolado, who is looking to sink in the choke. Abolado doesn't have the hooks in though and Cooper manages to reverse position! He's now on top, in his opponent's guard. Abolado has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Cooper can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Cooper really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Abolado. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Abolado is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Abolado looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Cooper loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Abolado working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Cooper doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Cooper manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Abolado avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Cooper trying to control the position from guard on top but Abolado is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Cooper content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Abolado keeping full guard, as Cooper tries to pass. Cooper must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Abolado keeping moving, preventing Cooper from controlling successfully.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Cooper throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Cooper is in close to Abolado's body, working some short punches and elbows. Abolado working for a triangle but Cooper defends it easily.
Cooper trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Abolado is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Cooper trying to control but Abolado is working from the bottom.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Cooper scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cooper is putting a hurting on Abolado here, landing some big shots from side control. Cooper is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Abolado has escaped the position, nice work there. Abolado tries to improve position but can't. Cooper landing a few strikes. Abolado is looking for a sweep. Abolado taking a bit of punishment here - Cooper scoring with strikes. Abolado is trying to improve his position.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Abolado displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Cooper throws out the jab.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Cooper throws a series of punches but Abolado avoids them all with ease. Abolado with a poor takedown and Cooper counters with a nice double leg into side control. Abolado won't be happy with that. Abolado tries to get back to half guard but can't. Abolado gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Abolado is working on a guillotine. He's managed to get to full guard and he's really squeezing tight! Cooper is tapping! Great win for Abolado!
