Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ingemar Bernales (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rory Flanagan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Bernales might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Hitomi no Jyuunin by L'arc en Ciel. Flanagan has chosen Whiskey in the jar - The Dubliners as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Ingemar Bernales!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Rory Flanagan!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, James Ackerman and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Flanagan rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Bernales moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Bernales looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Flanagan is fending him off so far but Bernales persists. Nope, Flanagan circles away and we're back to standing.
Bernales throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Flanagan was covering up waiting for the punch and Bernales finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Bernales passes into half guard.
Flanagan is trying to stand.
Bernales content to control rather than advance.
Flanagan pushes Bernales off looking to stand but Bernales dives back in and keeps control.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Flanagan can do anything to dispel that myth.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Bernales has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Flanagan defend it? Bernales steps over the head and cranks it - Flanagan is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Bernales!
