Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Carlos Condit (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gavin Myers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Myers is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by "Firebreather" by Thrice. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Jorge Garcia and Steve Montenegro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Condit scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Myers feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Myers looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
Condit is looking for a triangle but Myers pushes his legs off easily.

Myers trying to control but Condit is working from the bottom.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Myers is stalling in the full guard.
Myers trying to control the position from guard on top but Condit is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Myers really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Condit. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Myers is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
Myers not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Condit stuffs the takedown.
Condit misses with a takedown attempt
and Myers counters with a single leg into guard. Condit didn't expect that.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Myers got a little sloppy there for a moment and Condit has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Myers has managed to get both his arms back between Condit's legs - danger averted.
Myers wants to control from the top but Condit keeps moving.
Condit is looking for a triangle but Myers pushes his legs off easily.
Condit is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Myers tries to free his leg and advance position but Condit is retaining full guard.
Myers slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Myers drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Myers jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Condit working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Myers doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Myers manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Condit has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Myers should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Condit has tightened it up now! Myers should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
