We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Houdini shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Houdini is keen to just control but Knox is a slippery customer.

Knox makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!
Houdini on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.


It looks like Marshall Houdini has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
No luck for Houdini with that takedown attempt.
A decent looking cross lands there for Knox.
Knox moves into range and connects with a jab.


Marshall Houdini's cut is getting worse.
A jab from Houdini misses.
Houdini will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Houdini ducks straight into an uppercut from Knox and tumbles to the canvas! It’s a flash knockdown though - Houdini maanges to regain guard straight away.
Knox wants to stand but Houdini has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Houdini is breathing heavily.

Knox stands up from Houdini's guard - Knox perhaps looking for a knockout.

Houdini changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Knox looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Knox manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Knox seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.

Knox gets to his feet - back to striking we go!
Knox swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Houdini.


Marshall Houdini's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Houdini could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Knox lands with a nice body punch.

Knox slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.


Jeez, Marshall Houdini's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Marshall Houdini's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
