The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva stuffs the takedown attempt from Turbando. Turbando gets slowly back to his feet.
Silva avoids the head kick by Turbando.

Silva closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Silva lands in his opponent's guard.
Silva is looking to work some ground and pound but Turbando has wrist control.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Silva is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Turbando throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Turbando tries to close the distance and clinch up but Silva swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Turbando shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Silva pinned against the cage. Silva gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Turbando tries to close the distance and clinch but Silva swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
