Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dylan Fisher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Byron Bluth (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Dylan Fisher! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Byron Bluth! The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Daniel Cesar and Leandro Rodrigues.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bluth moves away from the strike by Fisher. Bluth drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Bluth stopping the sweep attempt from Fisher. Bluth drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Bluth jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Fisher looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Bluth puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. Bluth missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Bluth wants to lay and pray for a moment but Fisher keeps working. Bluth is looking for a kimura here.
Fisher is refusing to be controlled, as Bluth sits in half guard. Fisher wants to control but Bluth is keeping busy.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Fisher swats away the attempt to clinch by Bluth. Fisher wants to clinch. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Bluth. Fisher moves out of range of the leg kick from Bluth. Bluth keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
No joy there for Fisher, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Fisher gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Fisher looking for a sweep. Not yet Fisher, not yet. Bluth missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Bluth passes Fisher's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Fisher is trying to maintain the position but Bluth is very close to passing his half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bluth wants to free his trapped foot but Fisher is holding on for dear life with his legs. Bluth seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Fisher does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Fisher on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Fisher tries to get out of the position. Bluth trying to mount his opponent but Fisher defends it. Bluth is figuring out what he wants to do next. Fisher is refusing to be controlled, as Bluth sits in half guard. Bluth looks gassed! Fisher controlling the leg, holding on to half guard. Fisher is looking to improve his position.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Fisher gets a takedown into half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fisher wants to lay and pray for a moment but Bluth keeps working. Fisher is thwarting Bluth's attempts to control the position. Fisher seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Bluth wants to get back to full guard. Fisher sitting and controlling from the half guard. Bluth wants to improve his position but Fisher is controlling well.
Fisher seems to be looking for submissions.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Fisher stuffs the takedown attempt from Bluth. Bluth gets slowly back to his feet. Byron Bluth seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Fisher rushes Bluth and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Fisher breaks the clinch.
Fisher feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Bluth keeping moving, preventing Fisher from controlling successfully. Fisher preventing the sweep. Fisher looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Bluth is controlling Fisher's posture. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Dylan Fisher will probably get the nod. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Fisher misses with a body kick. Fisher tries to clinch and Bluth counters with a single leg into guard. Fisher didn't expect that. Fisher seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Fisher keeping moving, preventing Bluth from controlling successfully. Bluth content to stall in guard here. Bluth trying to control the position from guard on top but Fisher is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Bluth drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Fisher dives on top into guard. Fisher stands up from guard. Let's bang! Fisher shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Bluth as he jumps to the side. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Fisher shoots in and bounces Bluth off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bluth looking to hit a scissor sweep but Fisher is one step ahead there. Fisher tries to free his leg and advance position but Bluth is retaining full guard. Fisher preventing the sweep. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Bluth is on top in guard.
Fisher tries to land a sweep but no joy. Bluth postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Fisher throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Bluth is posturing up here but Fisher has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Bluth tries to roll out but it's too tight and Bluth has to tap! Slick submission there by Fisher!
