Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Cerebrinho Da Souza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Bach (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Da Souza has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Gwen Towbar and George Francis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bach is going olschool here, as he tries to force Da Souza to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Da Souza shrugs it off.

Bach takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Bach feints and as Da Souza raises his hands in defense, Bach changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Bach has hold of Da Souza's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Da Souza manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

John Bach showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!



Bach closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Bach connects with a nice short shot to Da Souza's temple.

Bach dives in and grabs Da Souza's left leg, looking for a takedown. Da Souza pushes down on Bach's head and hops out.
