0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Ethan Van Der Meer! The judges for this bout are James Glass, Sam Margolis and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Van Der Meer tries to close the distance and clinch but Scott swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Scott misses with a series of wild punches.

Scott swats away the attempt to clinch by Van Der Meer. Scott closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Scott thows a huge punch but Van Der Meer dodges it nicely.
Scott throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Van Der Meer is refusing to be controlled, as Scott sits in half guard. Scott sitting and controlling from the half guard. Scott scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
That's one minute gone in the round. Van Der Meer tries to kick Scott off but Scott keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Van Der Meer keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Van Der Meer avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Scott. Scott works his way into side control. Scott looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Van Der Meer is avoiding damage well.
Van Der Meer tries to escape but Scott is in control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Van Der Meer is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Scott scores with punches from side control. The ground and pound from Scott seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent. Van Der Meer wants to get back to his feet but Scott is dominant here and he's now got Van Der Meer's back! Scott connects with a series of strikes and the referee is calling for Van Der Meer to escape the position.
Even with his hooks in, Scott manages to miss with strikes from the back. Scott scores with some strikes to the side of the head there. Good, points scoring shots.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Scott lands a shot to the body. Van Der Meer is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.
Scott somehow managing to miss with a strike from the back. Scott struggling to land strikes to the head as Van Der Meer covers up. Scott throws a series of strikes and Van Der Meer wriggles onto his back, so he's now mounted. He's in real trouble here. Scott lands a nice shot to the head.

Scott throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Van Der Meer because Scott loaded up on that one. Scott lands with some strikes. Scott looking to finish Van Der Meer with some ground and pound. This is bad for Van Der Meer! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Scott working away from the top, dropping strikes. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Van Der Meer wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Scott.

Stuart Scott dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Scott scores a takedown into full mount! Van Der Meer in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. Stuart Scott overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Scott throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Van Der Meer because Scott loaded up on that one. Scott landing punches. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Scott cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Scott lands a heavy elbow. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Scott in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
A nice elbow there by Scott. Scott misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Van Der Meer is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Scott won't let Van Der Meer get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now. BOOM! Scott connects with a massive shot to the dome!
The referee warns Van Der Meer that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Scott trying to control but he's not successful this time. Scott with shots to the head and body - Van Der Meer looks very uncomfortable down there. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Scott fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
A nice elbow there by Scott. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Van Der Meer takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Scott's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.
