Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jason Jobber (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nevin Urkow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Nevin Urkow!
The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Paul Aken and Patrick Alders.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jobber pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Jobber has managed to clinch.

Jobber pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Urkow shoots in for a takedown but Jobber shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Jobber fails with an attempt to clinch.
Jobber tries to close the distance and clinch up but Urkow swats him away and circles back towards the center.

It looks like Nevin Urkow has been cut.
Jobber is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body.

Jobber breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Jobber leaves Urkow with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

That has opened up Nevin Urkow's cut even more.

Urkow is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Crunch! Jobber slams his shin into Urkow's torso.

Jobber closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

The cut above Nevin Urkow's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Jobber takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Urkow drops down looking for an ankle pick but Jobber pulls his leg out and moves away.

Jobber is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Urkow can do to turn this around?

It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Jobber here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.

Urkow closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Jobber did well to prevent Urkow getting side control.

Jobber regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Urkow.
Urkow throws a strike but Jobber rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Urkow is looking to sweep but instead, Jobber has passed into half guard.

Jobber decides to stand up.
Nevin Urkow has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Jason Jobber is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Urkow shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Jobber napping and manages to drive through into side control!

And that's the end of the fight!
Jason Jobber showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Jobber, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
