Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Franz Hitzfeld (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and gay scott (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). gay scott is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, gay scott!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Daniel Bishop and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hitzfeld fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches scott on the side of the head.
scott fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Hitzfeld avoids it really well and circles away.
No luck for scott with that takedown attempt.
scott shoots in looking for a takedown. Hitzfeld tries to sprawl out of it but scott keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Hitzfeld manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Franz Hitzfeld has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of gay scott.
Hitzfeld fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. scott sprawls well initially but Hitzfeld persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

scott pushes Hitzfeld off and gets back to his feet.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Hitzfeld darts in and out, connecting with a jab.

scott tries for a takedown but Hitzfeld circles away easily
and Hitzfeld counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps scott thinking.

Hitzfeld stands and throws scott's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Hitzfeld tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Hitzfeld has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hitzfeld with shots to the head and body - scott looks very uncomfortable down there.

Hitzfeld looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
Hitzfeld has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Hitzfeld is working for a guillotine from mount but scott frees his head quite easily.
scott is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Hitzfeld is landing with some decent strikes but scott is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if scott can do anything to dispel that myth.
scott is looking to improve his position but Hitzfeld isn't that keen on the idea.

Hitzfeld landing punches.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Hitzfeld cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

scott is in all sorts of trouble here.
Hitzfeld stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing.
scott misses with a takedown
and Hitzfeld counters with a single leg into guard. scott didn't expect that.
scott striking off his back but it's not causing Hitzfeld any problems.
Hitzfeld drops back looking for a leg! scott is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and scott manages to kick Hitzfeld off! Hitzfeld jumps back into scott's guard.
Hitzfeld stays in close to scott's body and controls the position.
scott wants to stand but Hitzfeld is controlling the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Hitzfeld passes scott's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Hitzfeld has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
scott is squirming around, avoiding Hitzfeld's attempts to control the action.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
scott wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
scott swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Franz Hitzfeld dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
scott takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
scott gets a takedown into half guard.
scott is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Hitzfeld makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!
Hitzfeld closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Hitzfeld is working to tighten is grip on scott's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. scott has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Hitzfeld is really squeezing tight and eventually scott passes out! Hitzfeld breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
