Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jack Ripper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nicklas Mattsson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mattsson has chosen Utah Saints - Something good '08 as his entrance music. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, George Francis and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mattsson is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Ripper.
Ripper scoring well with a low kick there.
Ripper throws a series of strikes that have Mattsson backpedaling.
Ripper lands with a kick to the ribs.
Mattsson shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Ripper as he jumps to the side.
Ripper lands with a thumping leg kick.
A solid body kick from Ripper.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Mattsson shoots for a takedown but Ripper saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Mattsson shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Mattsson postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Ripper is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Mattsson, into his guard.
Mattsson looks gassed!
Ripper wanted to stand there but Mattsson had control of the position.
Ripper got a little sloppy there for a moment and Mattsson has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Ripper has managed to get both his arms back between Mattsson's legs - danger averted.
Mattsson is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Ripper is aware though and is defending well.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Ripper wants to stand but Mattsson has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Mattsson is looking for a triangle but Ripper pushes his legs off easily.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Ripper lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Mattsson looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Nice body punch from Ripper.
Ripper looks to land a combination. Mattsson sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
It looks like Nicklas Mattsson has been cut.
Mattsson takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Ripper goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Ripper throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Mattsson.
Mattsson is rocked!
A decent looking body kick lands there for Ripper.
Ripper scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Jack Ripper is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Nice takedown defense from Ripper. No joy for Mattsson on that attempt.
Jack Ripper has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Nicklas Mattsson.
Ripper thumps Mattsson with a low kick.
Ripper jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.

Ripper lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Mattsson is still on wobbly legs! Can Ripper finish him?
Ripper lands a brutal head kick. Mattsson looks out on his feet and Ripper throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!
