Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Deejay Vendetta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and JeanPierre Kusela (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vendetta comes into the arena with Five Finger Death Punch - The Bleeding blaring out of the sound system. Kusela has chosen Paradise Lost - Small Town Boy as his entrance music. Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as JeanPierre Kusela enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Deejay Vendetta!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, JeanPierre Kusela!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Cecil Peabody and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vendetta throws a wild body kick that Kusela sees coming a mile off.
Kusela moves out of range of the strikes.
Vendetta does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Vendetta feints and then cracks Kusela's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Kusela down.
Kusela slips a straight right by Vendetta.
Kusela keeps the fight on the outside.
A head kick misses from Vendetta.
Kusela steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Vendetta.
Kusela closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Kusela scoring with punches and elbows.
Vendetta wants to control but Kusela postures up.
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.
Vendetta can't do much from the bottom here.
Vendetta manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Kusela tries to pass to full mount but Vendetta defends it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kusela prevents Vendetta from improving his position.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Vendetta has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Kusela is working away from the top position though.
Vendetta is looking for a sweep. Kusela is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Vendetta moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Kusela got a little sloppy there for a moment and Vendetta has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Kusela has managed to get both his arms back between Vendetta's legs - danger averted.
Kusela working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Vendetta's head.
Kusela trying to control the position from guard on top but Vendetta is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Kusela's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Kusela trying to control but Vendetta is working from the bottom.
Kusela tries to free his leg and advance position but Vendetta is retaining full guard.
Kusela must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Kusela is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Vendetta looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Kusela has picked Vendetta up and slammed him! Vendetta can't keep hold of the triangle and Kusela manages to pass to side control!
Kusela just content to control the position.
Kusela lands an elbow.
Vendetta tries to bench press Kusela off him but Kusela keeps the position.
Kusela wants to lay and pray for a moment but Vendetta keeps working.
Vendetta is looking to regain half guard here but Kusela keeps moving and retains side control.
Kusela cracks Vendetta with a big elbow.
Kusela trying to control the action but Vendetta is working from the bottom.
Vendetta sneaks back into half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Vendetta gets full guard.
Kusela wants to control from the top but Vendetta keeps moving.
Vendetta has his feet on Kusela's thighs here. He's pushed Kusela off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Kusela screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
