The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Steven Brown and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Twymanj avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Alexander shoots in but Twymanj avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Alexander closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Twymanj tries to improve position but can't.

Twymanj is trying to work for a sweep but Alexander has mounted him!
Alexander prevents Twymanj from getting the reversal.

It looks like Jmainet Twymanj has been cut.
Alexander really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Twymanj. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Twymanj wants to control but Alexander is having none of it.
Alexander lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

Alexander has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Twymanj's face.

Alexander is landing with some decent strikes but Twymanj is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
