The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Paul Aken and Albert Achterberg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stevo scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Ryzhkov doesn't seem bothered though.
Stevo lands with a nice combination. Ryzhkov backs away looking to recover.
It looks like Yuri Ryzhkov has been cut.
Stevo gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ryzhkov stops Stevo from standing up.
Ryzhkov passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Ryzhkov is working to tighten is grip on Stevo's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Stevo has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Ryzhkov is really squeezing tight and eventually Stevo passes out! Ryzhkov breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
