Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ralph Gordon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Diego Nougeria!
The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Shigeki Sano and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nougeria shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Gordon defends it nicely.
Nougeria shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Gordon as he jumps to the side.
Gordon throws a combination. Nougeria tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
It looks like Diego Nougeria has been cut.
Gordon cracks Nougeria on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Nougeria falls backwards against the ropes. Gordon follows up with more strikes that drop Nougeria to his knees. Gordon keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Nougeria! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ralph Gordon!
