Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mike Driver (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roman Empire (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Empire comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Protectors of the Earth kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Empire misses with a hook. Driver ducked under it nicely.
Driver swats away the attempt to clinch by Empire.
Empire connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Driver throws an overhand right that lands on Empire's shoulder, as Empire tries to avoid the shot.
A left and a right from Driver both land. Nice combination.
Driver slips under a jab.
Empire rushes Driver and pushes him back against the ropes in a clinch.
Empire breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Driver avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Roman Empire seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Empire tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Driver manages to move to mount!

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Empire is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet.

Empire trying to get back to his feet but Driver is in full control for now.
Empire is trying to get back to his feet. He's worked up on to his knees and now he's on his feet with his head on the canvas, trying to shake Driver off. It looks like it's working - Driver slides off, much to his dismay, and we're back to standing! Empire displaying calm under pressure there.
Driver looks for a takedown but Empire sprawls well.
Driver takes one on the button.
It looks like Mike Driver has been cut.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Driver takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Mike Driver will probably get the nod.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the ring so we can get back down to business.
Empire closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Driver! Empire dives in looking to finish! Driver is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:05 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Roman Empire!
