Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
8 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Tau Fang!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Kaban Demidov!
The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Dmitry Maklakov and Sergei Dronov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Demidov takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
It looks like Kaban Demidov has been cut.
Demidov misses with a low kick.
Demidov tries to clinch but Fang is having none of it.
Fang throws a head kick but Demidov moves out of range.
Fang moves out of range as Demidov strikes.
Fang throws a right and a left that Demidov avoids nicely.
Fang swings for the body but Demidov moves out of range.
The fight stays on the outside here - Demidov looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Demidov tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Fang paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Demidov lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
It looks like Tau Fang has been cut.

Fang misses with a straight left.
Fang ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Demidov moves away.
Fang connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Demidov momentarily.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Demidov throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Demidov moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Fang misses with a series of wild punches.
A nice leg kick lands there from Demidov.
Demidov on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.

Demidov is looking to clinch.
Demidov tries to close the distance and clinch up but Fang swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Demidov scores with a head kick.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Demidov throws a head kick but Fang moves out of range.
Demidov throws a quick inside leg kick.
Demidov doesn't manage to clinch there - Fang circles away.
Fang takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Fang is breathing heavily.

Fang looks to land a combination but Demidov avoids it well.
Demidov tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Fang was well out of range. Poor timing from Demidov.
Demidov throws a leg kick which misses Fang's front leg but catches the back leg as Fang tries to avoid it.
Demidov thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Fang if he has to take too many more of those.
Fang takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Demidov swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Fang.
Demidov throws a head kick that misses
letting Fang counter with a right hand.
Demidov tries to close the distance and clinch up but Fang swats him away and circles back towards the center.
A swing and a miss from Demidov.
Demidov wants to clinch up but Fang keeps it at a distance.
Fang tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Demidov is able to avoid easily.
Fang avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Demidov goes for a high kick. It partially lands.

Fang missing with a left hand there. Demidov was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Demidov keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Tau Fang's cut is getting worse.
Demidov misses with a series of wild punches.
Fang sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Fang takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Demidov.
A big right from Fang misses.
Fang takes a shot to the body in his stride.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Demidov lands a head kick that stumbles Fang and the fighters go to the mat.
Fang is rocked!
Demidov is pushing down on Fang's leg trying to pass to half guard. Fang is fighting to maintain full guard but Demidov has managed to sneak the leg through.
Oh Fang is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Demidov takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Demidov passes to full mount!
Fang seems to have got his legs back now.
Demidov controlling from mount.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Fang is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kaban Demidov dominated that round.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Demidov wants to clinch.
Kaban Demidov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fang misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Demidov.
Demidov fails with an attempt to clinch.
Demidov throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Tau Fang is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Demidov tests Fang's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Demidov walks straight into a right hand from Fang - that's dropped him! Fang jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Demidov from any more punishment! Demidov complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:36 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Tau Fang!
