Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ivan Drago (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Billy McGee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Konstantin Menshow and Viktor Lagutenko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No joy there for McGee, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
McGee fails in his attempt to clinch.
Left hook, right uppercut from McGee.
It looks like Ivan Drago has been cut.
Drago uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by McGee.
McGee moves in looking to clinch but Drago pushes him off.
McGee avoids the body shot from Drago.
Drago missing with a left hand there. McGee was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Drago throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Drago fakes high and swings low for a body shot but McGee manages to avoid it.
Drago changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. McGee tries to avoid it but Drago manages to keep hold of a leg and drag McGee to the ground. McGee escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Drago.
McGee dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

McGee scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Drago is breathing heavily.
Drago shoots in looking for a takedown. McGee tries to sprawl out of it but Drago keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. McGee manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ivan Drago. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Drago shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in McGee's guard.
Drago is fighting to break McGee's control of his arms but McGee is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
McGee wriggles free and stands up.

Drago fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. McGee sprawls well initially but Drago persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
McGee looks like he's trying to stand up.
McGee makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!

Drago throws a lazy right hand but McGee sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Drago tries to keep at a distance but McGee has taken the fight into the clinch.

McGee stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.

Drago throws an uppercut from half a mile away. McGee sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Billy McGee is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Drago will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Drago is really struggling to find his range with his punches. McGee's reach advantage is clearly causing him problems.
Drago lands with a straight right. McGee didn't see that one coming.

Drago tries for a takedown but McGee sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Ivan Drago seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
McGee grits his teeth and throws a big right-left combo! Drago takes both shots clean on the chin and is out cold! McGee cracks him once more on his way down, as the crowd goes wild! They enjoyed that one!
