Russki comes to the cage accompanied by TIME TO DIE KARCHINSKI; SAY GOODNIGHT. Ken Karchinski has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Nikolai Russki! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Ken Karchinski! The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Fedor Mirinova and Illya Tyunina.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Russki checks a leg kick. Russki shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Karchinski pinned against the cage. Karchinski gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Russki scores with a takedown into Karchinski's guard. Russki is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Karchinski wants to sweep here but Russki controlling him for the moment. Russki controlling from the top position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Russki with a flurry of punches that miss. Russki is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Russki might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
The referee stands the fighters back up. Nikolai Russki just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. Russki drives through with a takedown into guard. Karchinski being controlled here, momentarily. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Russki's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Russki is pushing down on Karchinski's leg trying to pass to half guard. Karchinski is fighting to maintain full guard but Russki has managed to sneak the leg through.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Karchinski blocking the ground and pound attempt from Russki. Russki working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Russki moves into full mount! Karchinski won't be happy about that! Russki dominating with strikes here. Russki takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Russki swings around for an armbar and he's got it! Wow, that came out of nowhere! What a finish!
