Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Neil Schweiber (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Scott Coleman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Coleman has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Scott Coleman! The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Frank Dennis and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Schweiber swinging wilding here.
Coleman looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Schweiber lands a right hook to the body.
Schweiber misses the jab. Schweiber misses the shot to the body. Coleman takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Scott Coleman seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Schweiber thows a left - swing and a miss! Schweiber takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Schweiber swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Schweiber connects with a good right hand that stumbles Coleman. Coleman circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Nice shot by Schweiber. The fighters circling - Schweiber throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Schweiber swings for the body but Coleman moves out of range.

Coleman really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Schweiber. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Coleman defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Schweiber. Schweiber lands a heavy elbow. Schweiber looking to finish Coleman with some ground and pound. This is bad for Coleman! Schweiber putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Schweiber lands a nice shot to the head. Schweiber lands a big shot there that rocks Coleman but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Schweiber has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Coleman on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Schweiber comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Coleman takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Schweiber gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Schweiber gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Schweiber apologises and we restart here on the feet.
Coleman gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Coleman slips a jab from Schweiber. Coleman walks into a straight right hand from Schweiber. Schweiber jabs at Coleman's body. Coleman tries to move into range but Schweiber moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Nice defenses there by Coleman. Schweiber decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Schweiber is nestled in close to Coleman, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Schweiber wants to take a breather but Coleman is having none of it. Coleman scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Schweiber manages to mount him!

Schweiber is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Coleman is surviving well by controlling Schweiber's body position as best he can. Schweiber landing punches. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Schweiber working the ground and pound effectively.
Schweiber has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Coleman's face.
