Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jimmy Russo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hex Manchester (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Russo comes into the arena with Destroy Everything blaring out of the sound system. Manchester has chosen Amerika as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Hex Manchester has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Russo manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Manchester manages to get himself to full guard.
Manchester working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Russo doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Russo manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Russo is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Manchester has his foot on Russo's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Russo works his way back into a safe position though.
Russo got a little sloppy there for a moment and Manchester has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Russo has managed to get both his arms back between Manchester's legs - danger averted.
Russo wants to control from the top but Manchester keeps moving.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Russo in particular looking to stall.

Russo postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Manchester badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Russo around the waist but Russo pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Russo is the winner by TKO! Russo jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jimmy Russo!
