Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lu Frank (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matt Cordova (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Lu Frank!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Matt Cordova!
The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Bruno Lombardi and Franklyn Lucas.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Frank avoids the head kick by Cordova.

Frank darts in and clinches Cordova up against the ropes.

Cordova wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Frank has him pressed against the ropes.

Frank escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

It looks like Matt Cordova has been cut.

Frank seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Cordova for as long as he can get away with.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

and Frank counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Cordova's guard now.
