Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Zackary Lockheart (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dan Hardey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Zackary Lockheart!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Dan Hardey!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, James Atkins and Paul Tew.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hardey slaps away a takedown attempt from Lockheart, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Hardey gets caught flat footed, as Lockheart shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Lockheart trying to control the position from guard on top but Hardey is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Hardey pushes Lockheart off and gets back to his feet.
Hardey takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Hardey shoots in for a double leg but Lockheart sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Lockheart decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Hardey throws a right and a left that Lockheart avoids nicely.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Lockheart closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Lockheart looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Hardey with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Lockheart stalling away here and it's allowed Hardey to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.
Lockheart has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Dan Hardey showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Dan Hardey comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Hardey has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
