Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Gwen Towbar and Stewart Dunkirk.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Achamian crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Penn - the referee stops the clock and Achamian gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Penn. Achamian manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Achamian tries to clinch but Penn is having none of it.
Penn connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Achamian momentarily.
Penn is looking to slow Achamian down with leg kicks.

Penn gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Achamian to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Achamian thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Penn has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Achamian can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Penn really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Achamian. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Achamian drops back looking for a leg! Penn is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Penn manages to kick Achamian off! Achamian jumps back into Penn's guard.
Achamian really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Achamian is breathing heavily.
Penn wants to stand up but Achamian is controlling him.

Penn has his feet on Achamian's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.

Penn gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Penn tries to bum rush Achamian with a series of wild strikes but Achamian uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Achamian feints and as Penn raises his hands in defense, Achamian changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Achamian drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Penn dives on top into guard.

Penn stands and steps away. Achamian gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Achamian chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Penn can pounce on him.

Achamian takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Achamian shoots for a double leg takedown but Penn sprawls well. He's pushed Achamian's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Achamian has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Penn finds it's way round the side to connect with Achamian's head.
Penn throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Achamian stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
