Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Selk misses with a wild combination.
Beater tries to close the distance and clinch up but Selk swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Beater fails with an attempt to clinch.
Beater pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Selk stalks Beater and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Beater's face. Beater staggers backwards, shaken.
It looks like Jimmy Beater has been cut.
Selk swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Selk looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Selk swinging wilding here.
Gord Selk seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Selk looks to land a combination but Beater avoids it well.
Beater dodges the punch combination from Selk.
Beater fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Selk misses with a double jab.

Beater forces Selk back against the cage and clinches.
Beater is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body.
Selk escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Selk connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.

Beater drops his hands momentarily. Selk doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Beater staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Beater doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.
