Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tyson Buchananan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zak Brutes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Buchananan takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Brutes tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Buchananan swivels and escapes.

and Brutes counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Brutes scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

An uppercut to the body lands inside from Brutes.
Buchananan tries to pull guard but Brutes won't allow it.

Brutes's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Buchananan looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Buchananan decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Buchananan is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet!
Brutes misses with a body shot

and Buchananan counters with a nice double leg into side control. Brutes won't be happy with that.
Buchananan throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.

and Buchananan counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Brutes's guard now.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Buchananan keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Brutes's head.

Brutes is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Buchananan drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Buchananan jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
