Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kerma Pekoni (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aamu Hannu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Aamu Hannu will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Aamu Hannu!
The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Ben Zyskovitsi and Marco Blurström.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hannu drives through with a takedown into guard.
Hannu tries to stand but Pekoni is controlling from the bottom.

Hannu must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Hannu controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Hannu wants to control from the top but Pekoni keeps moving.
Hannu slips nicely into half guard.
Hannu is pressing down on Pekoni's thigh, looking to free his foot. Pekoni is holding on for now.

Pekoni wants to control but Hannu is keeping busy.

Hannu thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Hannu will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Pekoni has taken the fight to the clinch.
Hannu tries to pull guard but Pekoni holds him up against the ropes and eventually Hannu drops back down to his feet.

The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Pekoni looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
Pekoni looking to hit a scissor sweep but Hannu is one step ahead there.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Horrible takedown by Hannu or perhaps it was just good defense by Pekoni which made him look bad.
Kerma Pekoni has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Aamu Hannu.
Hannu throws a combination. Pekoni tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Hannu shoots in for a double leg but Pekoni sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Hannu looks to land a combination but Pekoni avoids it well.
Hannu shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Pekoni as he avoids it easily.
Hannu closes this distance looking for a takedown but Pekoni circles away.
Hannu shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Pekoni but Pekoni pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Hannu looks gassed!

Pekoni rushes Hannu and presses him up against the ropes.
Pekoni manages to pull guard.
Hannu content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Pekoni has locked up a guillotine! Pekoni's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Hannu is holding on here and Pekoni must be using up a lot of energy. Hannu has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Pekoni gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
