Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dimitry Lopescu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rodrigo Santos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rodrigo Santos will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Matheus Silva and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lopescu shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Lopescu is trying hard to land a takedown here. Santos sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Lopescu is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Lopescu had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Santos is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Lopescu Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Santos's back instead.
Santos controlling the position well but he knows he's in a bad position.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

Lopescu is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Santos is defending well though. Lopescu let's go of the attempt for now.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Lopescu shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Santos counters with a single leg into guard. Lopescu didn't expect that.

Santos slips nicely into half guard, despite the strikes coming from Lopescu.

Santos got a little sloppy there for a moment and Lopescu has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Santos has managed to get both his arms back between Lopescu's legs - danger averted.

Rodrigo Santos showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

and Santos decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Lopescu's guard.
Santos is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Lopescu has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Santos is looking to defend but Lopescu has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Santos! Lopescu pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Santos taps out and this one is all over!
