Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Herbert Monsignor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and victor adams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). victor adams acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Tiny Johnson and Alan Glass.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
adams looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Monsignor is fending him off so far but adams persists. Nope, Monsignor circles away and we're back to standing.
Monsignor stuffs the takedown attempt from adams. adams gets slowly back to his feet.
adams will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Herbert Monsignor has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of victor adams.
adams misses with a takedown attempt - Monsignor sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
adams shoots in for a takedown but Monsignor shows good takedown defense.

Monsignor tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Monsignor has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

adams tries for a takedown but Monsignor circles away easily

and Monsignor counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Monsignor seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

adams has his foot on Monsignor's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Monsignor works his way back into a safe position though.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
adams controls Monsignor momentarily but Monsignor frees himself.

adams gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

adams is not in a great position here, taking some shots.
Monsignor works to advance to full mount. adams defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.

Monsignor is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but adams is surviving well by controlling Monsignor's body position as best he can.
adams is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Monsignor drives through and clinches with adams against the cage.
adams tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Monsignor.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Monsignor manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. adams manages to get himself to full guard.

and Monsignor decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in adams's guard.
