Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mitch Pitch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sebastien Legard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pitch comes into the arena with Green Day Brain Stew blaring out of the sound system. Legard has chosen Crank That (Travis Barker Remix) as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Sebastien Legard has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Mitch Pitch! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Sebastien Legard! The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Donatello Bradman and Damien Edna.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Legard moves into the clinch. Pitch misses with a knee strike.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Pitch just misses with a elbow thrown towards Legard's brow. Legard jumps guard but Pitch stands there with Legard around his waist. Legard gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Pitch throws an elbow that misses.
Pitch prevents a takedown attempt there.
Legard fails to pull guard.
Mitch Pitch has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sebastien Legard. Legard has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Pitch throws an elbow but it misses.
Pitch tries to circle away but Legard has him pinned against the cage. Legard jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Pitch walks away with a smile on his face. Legard gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. A swing and a miss from Pitch. Pitch shoots in looking for a takedown. Legard tries to sprawl out of it but Pitch keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Legard manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Legard is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Pitch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Pitch feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Pitch got a little sloppy there for a moment and Legard has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Pitch has managed to get both his arms back between Legard's legs - danger averted. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Pitch stays in close to Legard's body and controls the position. Pitch cracks Legard with a solid left hand.
That's one minute gone in the round. Legard has momentary wrist control but Pitch slips an elbow through the middle. Legard trying to control the position.
Pitch pushes down on Legard's leg and manages to get into half guard. Pitch seems to be looking for submissions.
Legard is staying active underneath Pitch, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Legard trying to control from the bottom.
Pitch is trying to work for a kimura but Legard is defending well.
Legard is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Pitch seems to be looking for submissions.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Legard wants to improve his position but Pitch is controlling well.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Legard slips a jab from Pitch. Pitch shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Legard manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Legard escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Pitch gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Pitch wants to control from the top but Legard keeps moving. Legard keeping full guard, as Pitch tries to pass. Legard not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Pitch trying to control the position from guard on top but Legard is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Legard can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Pitch controls the pace. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Pitch chips away with some ground and pound. Pitch pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Legard is keeping the position for now. Legard is trying to control the position from the bottom.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Pitch preventing the sweep. Legard looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Pitch has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Pitch is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Pitch drops back looking for a leg! Legard is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Legard manages to kick Pitch off! Pitch jumps back into Legard's guard. Pitch trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

A close round but Sebastien Legard will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Pitch has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Pitch there as he acknowledges the shot.
It looks like Mitch Pitch has been cut. Legard blocks a jab. Some wild striking there from Legard.
A head kick misses from Pitch. Legard throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Pitch's waist but Pitch gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Legard off to one side. No joy there for Legard, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Pitch throws a jab but it's blocked by Legard. Pitch takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Pitch fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Excellent takedown into side control there by Pitch. Legard manages to work his way to half guard, despite Pitch's best efforts. Pitch is working for a submission of some sort.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Legard missing with punches from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pitch looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Legard works his way to full guard. Good work. Pitch postures up.
Pitch throwing strikes but missing. Legard looking for a guillotine here but Pitch defends easily.
Legard wants to sweep but no luck. Legard wants to stand up but Pitch is controlling him.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Pitch trying to control but Legard is working from the bottom. Pitch passes Legard's left leg - he's now in half guard. Pitch has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Pitch is looking to work his way around to Legard's back. He needs to be careful though, as he's in danger of losing this dominant position. Pitch landing punches. Legard is wriggling around trying to escape.
