Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Monkey D Ruffy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jerome Chantome (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Monkey D Ruffy is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Shirou Masuda and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chantome closes the distance and clinches up with D Ruffy, looking for a takedown. Chantome pushes D Ruffy against the cage but D Ruffy circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
D Ruffy tries to clinch but Chantome moves out of range.
D Ruffy tries to clinch there but Chantome circles away.
D Ruffy wants to clinch.
D Ruffy tries to clinch up.
D Ruffy is looking to clinch but Chantome is avoiding it.

D Ruffy doesn't manage to clinch there - Chantome circles away.
Chantome shoots in for a takedown but D Ruffy shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
D Ruffy tries to close the distance and clinch but Chantome swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Chantome circles away from the clinch attempt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Chantome clinches up with D Ruffy and pushes him back against the cage.
D Ruffy working hard to break the clinch.
Chantome jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as D Ruffy walks away with a smile on his face. Chantome gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Monkey D Ruffy has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jerome Chantome.
D Ruffy closes the distance but Chantome moves to the side
and Chantome counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Chantome.
Chantome thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Chantome won't allow D Ruffy to get back to his feet.
Chantome throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as D Ruffy works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Chantome prevents D Ruffy from getting back to his feet.
Chantome stays in close to D Ruffy's body and controls the position.
D Ruffy wants to stand up but Chantome is controlling him.
Chantome is stalling in the full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
D Ruffy wants to stand but Chantome is controlling the position.
D Ruffy is breathing heavily.
Chantome is working D Ruffy over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Chantome slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Chantome moves into the clinch.
D Ruffy wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Chantome has him pressed against the cage.
Chantome breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
D Ruffy tries to clinch but Chantome moves away
and Chantome counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
D Ruffy darts in trying to clinch
and Chantome counters with a thumping low kick.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
D Ruffy wants to clinch
so Chantome counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Chantome forces his way into half guard.
Chantome is taking a breather. D Ruffy says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Chantome is working for a kimura but D Ruffy is defending it quite comfortably.
D Ruffy looks like he's trying to stand up.
Chantome in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. D Ruffy tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Chantome!
