Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Mr Meogy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and BJ Penn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Meogy comes into the arena with Everything in it's right place blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Penn tries to free his leg and advance position but Meogy is retaining full guard.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Meogy misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Horrible takedown by Meogy or perhaps it was just good defense by Penn which made him look bad.

Penn fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Meogy sprawls well initially but Penn persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Penn is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Meogy defends it well.
