Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between rafael soares (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Combo Bronx (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, rafael soares! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Combo Bronx! The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Thiago Cunha and Felipe Paraventi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bronx decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. soares looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Bronx is controlling the pace.
soares has a hand on Bronx's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Bronx takes advantage of the position though and mounts him! Bronx controlling his opponent. Bronx lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bronx content just to control the position here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. I looks like Bronx might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
Despite being in the dominant position, Combo Bronx just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Bronx scores with a slapping inside leg kick. soares walks into a stiff left hand from Bronx.
It looks like rafael soares has been cut. Bronx gets a takedown into half guard. Bronx works his way into full mount!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bronx takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. soares tries to reverse the position but Bronx maintains control. Bronx content just to control the position here. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Combo Bronx dominated that round. The cut man is working on rafael soares's cut. That's time! Back to the action!
Bronx drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. soares is looking to regain half guard here but Bronx keeps moving and retains side control. Bronx is staying tight to soares's torso, preventing him from escaping.

Bronx drops soares with a nice combination! Bronx dives into soares's guard, looking to finish!
soares is rocked! Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Bronx keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of soares's head. Oh soares is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
