Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Repe Sorsa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yuen San (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Repe Sorsa! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Yuen San! The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Gregory Folan and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sorsa swinging wilding here.
San is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Sorsa misses with a leg kick. San fails with an attempt to clinch.
Sorsa circles away from the clinch attempt.
San tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. San dives in and grabs Sorsa's left leg, looking for a takedown. Sorsa pushes down on San's head and hops out. Repe Sorsa seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. San slips a jab from Sorsa. Sorsa looks to land a combination but San avoids it well. Sorsa throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Sorsa lands a nice looking body shot.
San looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Sorsa is fending him off so far but San persists. Nope, Sorsa circles away and we're back to standing. San fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Repe Sorsa has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Yuen San. A jab lands there for Sorsa. San looks gassed! Sorsa clinches up with San and pushes him back against the cage. A frustrated look appears on Sorsa's face as he tries to break the clinch. Sorsa lands a takedown into guard.
Sorsa passes San's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sorsa is trying to control. San wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Sorsa is figuring out what he wants to do next. San is trying to maintain the position but Sorsa is very close to passing his half guard. San is looking to improve his position.
Sorsa throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Sorsa wants to free his trapped foot but San is holding on for dear life with his legs. Sorsa is stalling here. San is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Sorsa seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and San has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work. San working away. Sorsa is trying to get back to half guard.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Sorsa scores with a leg kick.
Sorsa pushes San up against the cage in a clinch. Sorsa lands a hook that snaps the head of San backwards. Sorsa tries to break free but San pushes him back against the cage. Sorsa has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
That's three minutes gone in the round. San wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Sorsa has him pressed against the cage. San tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Sorsa just stands there and leans against the cage. Sorsa has San pushed against the cage. Sorsa successfully pulls guard.
Sorsa wants to sweep but no luck. Sorsa throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
San stopping the sweep attempt from Sorsa. Sorsa manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. San manages to get himself to full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Sorsa wants to control from the top but San keeps moving. Sorsa slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Sorsa trying to control the position from guard on top but San is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Sorsa accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Repe Sorsa dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Sorsa lands with a slapping head kick.
It looks like Yuen San has been cut. San closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Sorsa gets back to half guard. Sorsa wants to control but San is keeping busy and won't allow it. Sorsa punching from the bottom.
Sorsa moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Sorsa tries to land a sweep but no joy. San is breathing heavily. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Sorsa is on top in guard.
Sorsa advances position into side control!
That's one minute gone in the round. Sorsa misses with the ground and pound. You can see the frustration on San's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Sorsa wants to lay and pray for a moment but San keeps working. Sorsa throws an elbow but San slips to the side and avoids it well. Sorsa trying to control the position but San is working away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Sorsa has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for San! Sorsa with the ground and pound from mount. Sorsa working for a submission but San is keeping him at bay. BOOM! Sorsa connects with a massive shot to the dome!
San wants to try and get back to his feet. Sorsa with shots to the head and body - San looks very uncomfortable down there.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sorsa tries to control but San wriggling away. The referee warns San that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Sorsa takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Sorsa cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Sorsa content just to control the position here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. San taking shots to the head. Sorsa looking to control and managing it successfully. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Sorsa lands a big shot there that rocks San but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Repe Sorsa dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Yuen San's cut. That's time! Sorsa's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!
Sorsa scores with a nice head shot. Sorsa lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Sorsa lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - San can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Sorsa and San drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Sorsa.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:13 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Repe Sorsa!
