Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Krav Mcgraw (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jark Reepal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Krav Mcgraw!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jark Reepal!
The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Paulo Santos and Luis Engracia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reepal moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

Mcgraw is rocked!

Reepal has Mcgraw up against the cage in a clinch.
Oh Mcgraw is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Reepal is trying to force a seperation but Mcgraw has the dominant position.

Mcgraw pulls guard.
Mcgraw seems to have got his legs back now.
Reepal looking to pass the guard.

Mcgraw looking for a guillotine here but Reepal defends easily.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Mcgraw is on top in guard.
Mcgraw slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

Mcgraw is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Reepal is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Reepal gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there!

Mcgraw looking to secure an arm triangle but Reepal defends it well.
Reepal is desperately trying to improve his position but Mcgraw has a good base and remains in mount.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Reepal defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Mcgraw.

Mcgraw with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.

Mcgraw has control of Reepal's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Reepal regains control of the situation pretty easily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Reepal tries to reverse the position but Mcgraw maintains control.

Reepal is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Reepal is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Reepal really wants to buck Mcgraw off and get back to his feet.
Reepal is looking to get to half guard.

Mcgraw is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Reepal can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Reepal defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Mcgraw's arms.

Mcgraw has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Reepal has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
Reepal is in a world of trouble here. He's outmatched on the ground here and he'd better get Mcgraw off his back sharpish unless he wants to be submitted.
Mcgraw is breathing heavily.
Reepal takes a big shot to the side of the head.
Reepal is trying to stand back up.
Mcgraw is working the ground and pound. Can Reepal escape?

Reepal tries to escape but Mcgraw has the hooks in and won't let him break free.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Krav Mcgraw dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Mcgraw is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Reepal gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Krav Mcgraw. That's going to take a lot out of him.

and Reepal counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Reepal.

Mcgraw jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Reepal walks away with a smile on his face. Mcgraw gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Reepal has closed the distance and engaged Mcgraw in a clinch.
Mcgraw drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Reepal gets underhooks to prevent Mcgraw's takedown attempt.
Reepal wants to break the clinch but can't.
Mcgraw fails to pull the fight into his guard.

Reepal dips to his left and cracks Mcgraw with an uppercut!
Reepal scores with a shot to the body.

Reepal looks to land a combination but Mcgraw avoids it well.

The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.
Mcgraw tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Reepal just stands there and leans against the cage.
Mcgraw has Reepal pressed against the cage, preventing Reepal from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Mcgraw prevents Reepal from breaking the clinch.
Mcgraw can't get the takedown.

Reepal breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Mcgraw throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Reepal was covering up waiting for the punch and Mcgraw finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Reepal wants to sweep here but Mcgraw controlling him for the moment.
Reepal is trying to control the position from the bottom.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Reepal can do anything to dispel that myth.

Mcgraw has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Reepal wants to get back to his feet but Mcgraw drags him back down.
Mcgraw in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.

Mcgraw wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Reepal, who protects the arm well.
Mcgraw lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Reepal down.

Mcgraw is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Reepal looks calm but he's in trouble here. Mcgraw gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Reepal is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Mcgraw lets go of the hold and Reepal can pop his arm back in it's socket.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:24 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Krav Mcgraw!
