Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Bobby Bays (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Egan Gore (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gore is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Reise, Reise. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Egan Gore! The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Dmitry Maklakov and Sergei Dronov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bays shoots in and bounces Gore off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Bays looking to pass the guard. Gore manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Bays manages to get himself to full guard.
Bays avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Bays keeping moving, preventing Gore from controlling successfully. Bays tries to land a sweep but no joy. Gore slips nicely into half guard. Bays is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Gore pulls his head out easily. Gore looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Bays tries to get to full guard but Gore has control of the leg. Bays is working hard here to advance position. Bays looking for submissions from an awkward position here.

Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Bays. Gore trying to control but he's not successful this time. Gore has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Bays's face.

He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. The fighters are battling for position here. Gore manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Bays shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Gore pinned against the cage. That's going to take a lot out of him.

He's got his arms around Gore's waist but Gore gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Bays off to one side. Gore stuffs the takedown. Gore scores with a hook. Bays looks frusrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Bays fails with the takedown. Bays fails with a takedown attempt. A combination from Gore does no damage. Bays has Gore pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Gore manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Gore tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Bays's elbow. Bays tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Gore smiles and moves away.

Gore tries to clinch but Bays moves out of range. Bays closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Gore is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Gore manages to work his way to half guard, despite Bays's best efforts. Gore moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Gore pulls Bays in to control the position. Bays pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Gore is keeping the position for now. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Gore is on top in guard.

Gore throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Gore pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Bays shoots in but no luck this time. Bays fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Bays has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Gore finds it's way round the side to connect with Bays's head. Nice sprawl there from Gore as Bays shoots in. Bays fails with a takedown attempt. Bays shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Bays was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Bays is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Gore can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Bays goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Gore is on top in guard.

That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Bays's guard. Bays is trying to get back to full guard. Bays is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Gore's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Gore's back! Bays looking to break Gore's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Gore remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Bays will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke! Gore is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Bays gets his way!

Bays working for a RNC but it's not happening just yet. Bays looking to break Gore's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Bays is not going to allow Gore to sit and survive in this position. That was a close second round but I would say that Bobby Bays will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

Gore slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. No, Gore has escaped the position, nice work there. Gore prevents Bays from improving position. Bays tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Bays has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Gore strikes from the bottom. Gore sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Bays is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Gore defends it well. Bays is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Bays is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Gore is just riding it out for now. Bays eventually gives up the hold. Gore wants to improve his position but Bays is controlling well.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Bays fails with a takedown attempt. Gore bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Bays's head backwards. Bays shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Gore as he jumps to the side. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bobby Bays. That's going to take a lot out of him. Bays fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Bays pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Bays is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Gore knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Gore throws an elbow to the body but it doesn't land.
