Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Lloyd Budgell!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, William Peck and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fighters circle momentarily. Hollywood darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Budgell shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Budgell is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hollywood wants to get back to his feet but Budgell is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Budgell postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Hollywood is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Budgell, into his guard.
Hollywood stands up and waves to Budgell to follow him.
Budgell looks frusrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Hollywood lands a head kick. Budgell smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Budgell is rocked!
Hollywood drops Budgell with a straight right hand, right on the button! Hollywood follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:03 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). David Hollywood!
