Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ben Knox (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stewart Kelly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kelly has chosen Dropkick Murphy's - Shipping Up To Boston as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Stewart Kelly has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Ben Knox! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Stewart Kelly! The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, James Glass and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kelly lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Knox circles away quickly and effectively. Kelly misses with a straight right. Kelly misses with an uppercut. Knox saw that one coming. Kelly throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Knox. A combination from Kelly does no damage. Knox misses with an uppercut. Kelly fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Knox gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Kelly to score an easy takedown into full guard. Kelly being controlled here momentarily. Kelly working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Kelly postures up in Knox's guard and throws a big left but Knox blocks it. Kelly is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Knox is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Knox has escaped and now he's on top! Kelly lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Knox!
That's one minute gone in the round. Knox has worked his way to half guard, taking advantage of Kelly's lack of action.
Kelly is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Knox on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Knox tries to get out of the position. Knox keeping hold of Kelly's head, controlling as best he can. Kelly is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Kelly is working for a kimura but Knox is defending it quite comfortably.
Kelly looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Knox tries to roll over but Kelly keeps him under control. Kelly wants to control but Knox is keeping him busy. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kelly throws a strike but Knox avoids it easily and moves to full guard. Kelly is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Knox is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Knox has escaped and now he's on top! Knox wants to stand but Kelly has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Knox trying to control but Kelly is working from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Knox postures up in Kelly's guard and throws a big left but Kelly blocks it. Knox with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Kelly looking for a guillotine here but Knox defends easily.
Knox seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Knox working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Kelly's head. Kelly escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Knox gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Knox's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Knox got a little sloppy there for a moment and Kelly has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Knox has managed to get both his arms back between Kelly's legs - danger averted. Knox is stalling in the full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Knox landing with the ground and pound. Kelly looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Knox lands a couple of digs. Knox trying to control but Kelly is working from the bottom. Knox is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Kelly had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Knox is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Kelly Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Knox's back instead. Despite being in a bad position, Knox is controlling the hands, preventing any submission attempts. Knox tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ben Knox dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Some wild striking there from Kelly.
Knox moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Kelly stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Knox. Ben Knox is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Knox scores with a jab. Kelly acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
It looks like Stewart Kelly has been cut. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Nice combo by Knox! Oh, that's hurt him - Kelly falls to the canvas and Knox follows him into side control. Kelly is trying to get back to half guard. Knox scoring with punches from side control. Knox in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. Knox landing strikes. Knox stands up and we're back to a striking position. The fighters circle momentarily. Knox darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Ben Knox is winning the standup battle so far. Kelly takes a shot right to the bread basket. No joy there for Knox, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Both fighters circling slowly here as the pace drops. Hopefully one of them does someth.. OOOHHHH!!!! Knox throws an absolute beast of a head kick! Kelly is done! He's out cold, twisted and contorted up against the cage! Wow!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:56 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Ben Knox!
